U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds
Military Jet Team
The US Air Force Thunderbirds produce an hour-long demonstration that combines pride, precision, and professionalism with years of pilot training for an amazing showcase. The sharply choreographed, drill-style ground ceremony kicks off the demonstration by showcasing the attention to detail and esprit de corps that defines the Air Force's enlisted members. As the jets take to the skies and fly only a few feet from wingtip to wingtip, the crowd will get a glimpse of the awesome skills and capabilities possessed by the fighter pilots. The solo pilots integrate their own loud and proud routine, exhibiting some of the maximum capabilities of the F-16 Fighting Falcon, which is the Air Force's premier multi-role fighter jet.

Colonel Joshua "Tater" Boudreaux, taking Wild Blue through maneuvers as though he indeed were a fighter jet.

Why would anyone or any company want to sponsor this event?
It’s a joke and not well prepared or planned!
The gates to Keesler are open for a large crowd for only a couple hours and then the venue on the beach is ridiculous.
I won’t be able to sell anything and what about enjoying an ice cold beverage?
My suggestion is “folks, keep your money and save your business from failure.”

Diana, we live on our boat and will be at Point Cadet Marina. Could you advise whether it might be best to simply stay at the marina during the show(s) or go out and anchor for better viewing??

Hi Barb! While there will be shuttle bus service from the Point Cadet area, I would suggest that you try to find a spot to anchor in order to get a better view of the show. If you visit the website below you will find the secure water area map for info on where boats will not be allowed to anchor. Additional secure areas may be added as we get closer to showtime. Keep an eye out on the website below and our Facebook page for more info.
