Vandenberg Commons is closed due to health and safety concerns over the potential of mold in the building. We are just as concerned as you may be because of this news.

Our Mission

To provide a community area to all base personnel and their families through recreational and leisure activities and digital resources.

General Info

Located in the heart of the Triangle area, the Vandenberg Commons offers the base community a place to unwind and relax. Our community center is comprised of a gaming room, movie room, study rooms, and a digital library. On Friday and Saturday nights, the Vandenberg Commons transforms into Club Vandy for NPS Students with a bar, dance floor, and DJ.

Programs & Resources

Digital Library

Open to all base personnel, located on the second floor of Vandenberg Commons. In-House Resources Services include use of computers, printers, copy machine, fax and scanner, research and reference materials.

Resources include programs like Air Force Overdrive. eBooks for adults and children, research materials, teacher reference center and student resources. Anyone with a CAC card can access digital resources after registering through the AF Portal. For more information, visit the digital library page.
